Your Bio

Jim Manley has been a photographer in NYC since 1980. Starting off paying his way by working in a lab making black & white prints, then on to managing the shop. Eventually he bought the shop and moved to 3 floors of a 4 story building on 47th Street between 6th & 7th Avenues. Also, Jim worked doing photos for Ben Allen for "Backstage" for 8 years.

Jim has the privilege of loving the work he does, he has photographed many, many thousands of faces over the past years and remembers every one.

Presently, Jim has a photo studio in the heart of Broadway (1650 Broadway at 51st Street). An ideal studio for professional headshots, corporate shots, online dating shots and 1,2 or 3 talking head videos.
